Loads of stuff to plan for. Gotta watch my commitments.

I really dun wna go for nrp symposium... feel so unprepared. Poster, script yadada.

And bio isn't as easy as people think... it's pretty challenging too. Memorising alone would get you nowhere by the way.

Econs' pretty interesting though. Can't rly say the same for math but well, gotta take it anw.

Lots of stuff to do now... if only friday would quickly come, then can have cca. Pretty fun.

But at least there's council to keep me going i guess. It's just nice to be around em. Idk why, but it just seems happy, whether it's for work or play. Or simply just slacking around. I guess that's what pretty much drives me to Council Room almost daily after school, even if it's 5 in the evening.

And I have this sudden urge to start annotating proposals. Seems pretty interesting and constructive. Over a cup of coffee and lounging around some area with scenic views of the sea. It'd be a great way to nua with work. If only I had the time and money. (And resourcefulness to find such an area)

Yesterday's steamboat by RVSC was really great!
Gratz org comm! You guys did great.
Cheers filled the air, as did repeated 'yum-seng's
As did laughters and the rhythmic pieces performed
Praises were aplenty too, as Mr SMS toured the area
Hearts were warmed over a meal together, over the purchase of candles of hope
We must do this again next year okay?
Council's beginning to diversify, beginning to improve its presence and impact
So let's not lose momentum yea?

--------------------------------------------
Yesterday was a shagged-out day, with no breaks till 2pm, 9.5 rounds of running, countless times lugging tables and chairs, high energy scenes and profuse perspiration. But it all paid off, esp for steamboat with the success met. Still remember hauling chairs with terence from hall to SL, struggling with pretty-sharp-edged tables from canteen to SL, experimenting with less painful ways of carrying tables with yi thong (next time, flip it over and carry with the rounded edge down), tidying the area, shifting everything back till late, learning (and embarrassing myself) how to chong1 shui3 with geri and yujun, chatting on 198 with chi kan and yi thong. Tiring as things were, it was a great experience. And it's moments like these that bring us together, that compose our memories of Council.

--------------------------------------------
Today was great. Had EL which was pretty fun but tiring, be it the exercises, the 'impalling', the rehearsals. But it was nice getting to try out different roles and getting things done. Gotta memorise script by Fri and do vocals daily. Sounds pretty interesting to be honest. Need to rly get those lines in and rly get to know the script.

Went to Mr Gan's later to bai nian with excos. His house is nice. And it was rly great gathering in an informal setting. Played Wii Tennis with hester and Wii Boxing with yi thong and chi kan. It was hilarious:

"ta wan dao mei li, wo xiao dao mei li"
- yi thong on video-ing us on Wii Boxing

And xiaohui told us that in China, they dont practise giving oranges, but rather, they give more expensive stuff like alcohol, tonics and such. And we thought oranges were universal, esp in the origins.

Rushed to Adrian's later to bai nian and catch up with icep usa 08 people. It was great getting to meet up after so long and having good laughs and all. Yes, jj and tkl, i owe you guys one! Sorry to turn down last minute, but we will hang on soon ya?

That pretty much sums up today. Left with loads of stuff to do: studying for lecture tests, completing tutorials, completing el tasks, starting projects, attending meetings, symposium preparation, application reviews etc.

Finding our similarities' fun!

They're streaming in.
You can't stop them.
Because you're lauded as an alpha.
Or rather, we're lauded as alphas.
It's building up.
It's increasing.
The pressure and the expectations.
But more importantly, the chances to bond.
We'll live our lives together, spend our time together.
Demands are high, the critics sharp.
Internal. Intra. Inter.
It just gets bigger.
We'll bond for sure; we all want that.
We all know we will.
We're excited over it.
We will stay together, bros
We will make it together
And we'll emerge stronger and closer than ever
& that's what we all desire badly
Given our affinity, cooperation, closeness.
Which we all agree to and feel strongly for.
As we build our brotherhood, our image.
It's gonna be intense, and I look forward to building it.
Definitely, certainly.

It'll be a great journey, a great team, a great feeling.

It's so exciting to think of it:
The time we'll spend planning
The time we'll spend executing
The time we'll spend getting clothes for the occasion
The time we'll spend dry-running
The time we'll spend before and during the sessions
The time we'll spend on the bus ride home
The time we'll spend chatting and sharing problems
The time we'll spend on our crazy plans
The time we'll spend in the hostel, living together
The time we'll spend staying up together
The time we'll spend receeing (pun intended)
The time we'll spend studying and discussing acads
The time we'll spend against the common antagonist
The time we'll spend supporting each other
The time we'll spend abroad on trips
The time we'll spend hanging out together
The time we'll spend having meals together
The time we'll spend holding meetings
The time we'll spend holding things together
The time we'll spend inspiring others
The time we'll spend projecting our image
The time we'll spend working on that image
The time we'll spend high-ing
The time we'll spend suaning each other
The time we'll spend receiving great news and words
The time we'll spend impressing upon others
The time we'll spend building and practising our synergy
The time we'll spend creating our legacy
The time we'll spend living our brotherhood
The time we'll spend appreciating our affinity
Together.

I know I'll miss all these when things draw to a close, but I know I'll seek joy in having been part of it all, being part of a crazy and great band of brothers. And the exciting (though ardous) journey is set to commence soon! And we're all set to immerse ourselves in it and I'm all set to enjoy every bit of it, be it bitter, sweet or sour (suaned!) for it's something I'll hold on to dearly and truly (and I really mean truly), with all my heart and soul.

And we really must go abroad together! Anywhere (best if it's somewhere far and rare)! It'll be an unforgettably fun, crazy, blissful, high, bonding experience. The feeling would be intense and that's what's gna be great!

Plus, it was nice to know of all the plans we have in store, but more importantly, it's nice to see the motivation and dedication we all have and the goal we share. Being with people of truly the same interest and motivation really is an amazing feeling. And the passion we share is strong and infectious. It was also great to see how easily we gel in together and how crazy we can get together, not forgetting our ability. We must develop this further, be it for work or play. And hopefully we'll grow alot closer too! This team is really something I believe in, a highlight I look forward to, a motivation I live for.

In a world where things get complex, and change and degenerate continually,
sometimes it's nice to stay pure and innocent.
Focusing on what will bring you further, on what really matters and counts.
So sometimes, being on the sidelines (or bleachers) really isnt that bad after all
For with it comes opportunities to observe and learn from the players,
yet being able to rest and devote time and energy to the more pressing issues
For they will start off a chain reaction that will eventually get you there, perhaps even with better returns.

Beginning to like doing econs, which is a good thing for at least school isnt so dreadful and I wouldnt keep regretting not doing geog. That aside, bio is great too...interest I suppose. And GP is pretty interesting. That pretty sums up what I look forward to in school, on top of Council and EL.

& I still don't get why scholar leaders gta take part in PESA.
