I really have no idea if I should go on.
The motivation's gone. The essential's forsaken.
Just for a pursuit.
A pursuit so surreal now.
Perhaps I should slow down.
Maybe even return to ground zero.
For it's a crazy life.

It's my primary school (& no, dun insult the name. I'm proud of her.). Yeah, i was surfing the Net for National Day music for Nat Day Celebrations this year and chanced upon this.
While I admit I do not know these peepz (they entered after i graduated according to bro), this video certainly caught my attention (also cuz they dun usually upload vids on Youtube).
Yeah, it may not be very impressive, but it certainly evoked loads of memories. Of crazy music lessons (we didnt dance; just sang), freezing harmonica prac, hilarious harmonica prac, laborious red cross prac (for talentime 02,03,04), nerve-wreaking BRPS Idol auditions and everything. This was the place. This was the uniform. This was the scene. The music room hasnt changed, has it? & yes, this vid bears quite some resemblance to talentime prac.
Didn't think I'd value my primary school this much.

- The new safety video for 737-300s, flown on Air New Zealand's domestic routes.
Noticed anything peculier? Take a 2nd look ;P
Creative and engaging presentation style, I'd say!

- What if Fairy Godmother dumps you into a tragic story with undesirable characters?
Let me tell you a story.
Once upon a time, there lived 5 friends: smart smart, work work, stare stare, roll roll, gee gee (no hege hege) and suan suan, collectively known as "the poor souls". They were dumped into a tragic fairytale by Fairy Godmother despite profuse objections.
In the fairytale, there lived two characters. The first one's called Dumb dumb. As it's name suggests, dumb dumb's dim-witted, if not just blur about everything. It also has this amazing ability to pretend to do things, just like its side-kick, slack slack!
Slack slack doesnt have an ability to pretend. It doesnt need it. It just doesnt do anything. Hence it's name. But they're both similar in tht they dun do stuff.
So dumb dumb + slack slack = GG
Therefore, dumb dumb and slack slack are causing problems for the now-frustrated poor souls as they raced against Tragedy, the monster.
But thing is, dumb dumb and slack slack dunno how bad the situation is. Or rather, they have a poor ability to judge severity (pbb due to dumb dumb's dim-wittedness and slack slack's laziness). They dun think. Period.
But of course, the poor souls try to warn them but to no avail. And so, the Tragedy unfolds. Upon seeing the ugly face of Tragedy, the monster, the wires in dumb dumb's mind snapped in fear and dumb dumb became well, dumber. Meanwhile, slack slack's muscles worked their mitochondria out, churning out as much as possible. Miraculous, but true.
But till this very day, they have yet to triumph over Tragedy, dragging the poor souls down with them.
Moral of the story: Fairy Godmother may not always be right in putting you in the right fairy tale. In your next tale, choose wisely. And insist.
-The End-

Group Photo! Hopefully, we'll have full attendance in future!
Hmm who's that? I wonder...
Nice!
Hols homework (how ironic) overloaded me. And as if that was insufficient, stuff around me are screwing me up. Why? Why does it have to me?
Selfish as it sounds, why should I bear the brunt of your doings?
Damn. Damn. Damn.
But on the bright side, lessons end at 2 daily 'cept mon when it's 2.20. But even that isnt much of a help when you have to stay back almost daily to complete, or at least try to complete, various chores, of which not all are solely your responsibility.
That aside, at least now, I wont be that packed. And hopefully, from next week onwards, my schedule would be more fruitful:
Mon's NRP day (fortnightly)
Tue's CCA
Wed's SMP day (though we have a one month break courtesy of Ms Wong
Thurs' CCFSC Peer Tutoring.
Fri's CCA
Speech Day's postponed. CCA's cancelled. H1N1's taking its toll on the school.
Anw, did I tell you that I actually kinda like lang arts lessons? Oh pish posh. Not very interesting, but certainly satisfying. And rather challenging too. Successfully uncovering the meanings behind those words really gives your brain a good workout and your heart a well-deserved feeling of satisfaction. Damn, life would've been much btr if I had chosen lit over phy (Not tht phy is useless for i've learnt quite some applications). Jiawen agrees with me on that!
Oh yeah, I doubt I can ever become a canadian citizen in future cuz it means surrendering your sg citizenship which yields heavy consequences and means pangseh-ing your homeland. Maybe PR... maybe. Cuz it sounds real good to live there. But on the other hand, perhaps I'll drop the idea when I grow up, but for now, I'm still yearning for my vancouver vacation (alliteration unintended)!
