Finally back from ICEP Inbound.
Brought the Americans to places like Bugis, Central, Little India etc.
Omg, they loved Bugis St and Little India lah can. They visited it for about 3 times? In 3 days.
Well apparently Colonel was pissed off with all that shopping. Boring...
Oh yeah, got Chilli Crab, Satay and Popiah for them to try. And to my surprise, they loved the chilli crab! Even slurped up the sauce. Thought they disliked spicy stuff. You guys were great! Gahh, feel so bad for not buying the durian some of them oh-so-wanted. Shucks. I blame it on MRT.
Sent them off yst morning at 4am at T3 as they commenced their 30 hr + journey on United Airlines. T3 was just gorgeous. Tell me, how could you get lost?
Hey, dun forget to Facebook us when you come on down to SG again yeah? Will surely bring your around. And this time, you'd enjoy it.
Tip for those helping out for Inbound '09: PLS PLS PLS bring extra cash to host them. HQ will not pay for your expenses or theirs (during free & easy) at all. They deserve a memorable time and a chance to experience SG culture and food. Don't deny them that and be cheapskate or be restricted by HQ's lack of funding. You can make a difference and paint a beautiful picture of SG in their minds. Just do it for their sake if not for SG's. Cuz some prolly have bad impressions of SG.
