Here to blog at such an ungodly hour, while waiting for oh-so-efficient Hotmail to upload the Orientation Tee design so can email to Ms Tan.

Orientation pkg! Hey guys, we gtta meet agn cuz the stuff dun fit the theme :O Gtta generate another shopping list.

Had a rather relaxing day today aft RVSC CIP meeting. Xmas CIP is gnna be great! Hope to snap loads of pics thr and share the festive joy with the residents! (: Must go learn the lyrics to EIGHT xmas carols.

Sometimes, it's rly satisfying to do such community work esp when you see the smiles on their faces. While not all of them are keen, at least we know we have tried.

And yes, sometimes I find that CIPs should be done on a long term basis and not just a day or two just for the hours. Think abt the old folks. Wont they feel taken advantaged of? And do u actually think they can feel your care and love for them if you just come and go, for the sake of hours? I am not shooting anyone or RVSC or anything. Just some general observations. I know, easier said than done, to commit so much time.

But point is, wht is the point of doing CIP when they do not actually feel your genuine care and you just go thr for the sake of the hours? Get my point?

Speaking of CIP, shall talk a little abt helping others. It has always been said that the good will be rewarded. Doing good to others will bring good to yourself. That in a way is true as seen in shows like Little Nyonya (Juxiang who finally married a guy who loved her with his life). Perhaps it might be true, bt just tht we do not get rewarded apparently or immediately. It could come in the form of a lasting friendship, a smile, a good impression in someone else's mind etc. Nvrtheless, we should not seek for rewards when doing good, but seek in bringing good to others and seek satisfaction from it.

Ok, end of preaching.

You're confusing me. Should I clear the air? Or play along?
Maybe I shall lay back and just be myself? Yeah, it beats delving into the complex minds of others. If it happens, it happens.
