Went on a 4D3N Cruise to Penang and Phuket with my family. Spent some quality time with them there! We sailed on board th gigantic Superstar Virgo (Which I know many of you have. Bt this is my first time :P)
16th to 19th Nov 2008. Here is what happened:
Day 1!
She's a virgin! :O Chu4 nv3. You wish. It means SS Virgo.

The elegant, magnificent, extravagant Grand Piazza (Lobby) Grand stairways and majestic statues to top it all up! Looks like a hotel lobby cum shopping mall if you ask me.

Carribean @ Keppel Bay! Beautiful luxurious condo. My dream home... Private marina lehh...

Great view of home from the pool deck! Haha, wont tell you which block lah duh. But, if you know me well enough, you will know.

The beautiful pool deck! Filled with activities for now as we depart sg.

Superstar Virgo!

With my brother, Marcus. Dun mind the hair, it was damn windy! Wanna see a messy hairstyle right? Here you go! Haha.

Stop comparing lah, I know he looks btr. Tyvm.

"You jump, I jump" "Oooh baby..." Think Titanic.

Parthenon Pool at night. I know this sounds gay but it is romantic at night. *hints*

Day 2!

Parthenon Pool with its amazing (pirated) greek architectural pieces.

On our (family) way to penang on a small tender boat.

Typical shophouses in central penang. Yes, central. Bought loads of tau sar piah which is their local produce. Yummy! Tried some penang laksa and penang char kway teow at Gurney Plaza too. Slurps. Yes, if you havent realised, I succumb to gluttony. :D

With mum at the Grand Piazza.

Mum and dad! <3
Day 3!
Superstar Virgo in anchorage off Phuket. Aint she beautiful?

Phuket

The ever-so-famous Patong Beach aka Hat Patong.

Few years aft the tsunami and looking gd!

Grab and glass of lemonade and rub on some sun screen! Time to get that hot tan, baby!

White sands, turquoise sea. Picture-perfect beach. Until I visit the Carribean Islands in a million gazillion years (when I actually earn enough $), this is pbb th nicest beach I've visited. Is that a headland and bay?

A tribute to the Tsunami victims. Every year, on 26th Dec, th ppl of Phuket come here to pray for the many who lost their lives to the freak wave. They release millions of paper lanterns (those you see in Thai Airways ads) as a tribute and to pray. Must have been a heartwarming and mesmerizing sight. This is at Hat Karon btw - one of beaches severely hit by the waves.

Remote Phuket. Arent you glad Singapore's so urbanised?

Elephant entertainment. Swings hoola hoop with trunk and at the same time uses it to blow a harmonica. Cool.

I see they're well-prepared. O.o

Beautiful tranquil scene. Perfect getaway.

While waiting to watch Sports Unlimited at the Lido Theatre. It's a great show with loads of acrobatics, a little comedy, cool bball shots (and multi-person dunks) and amazing lighting effects! Go watch it if you're going on board. & yes, stop comparing lah!

Mum and Dad at Cocktail Reception. Elegant.

Day 4!

Morning shots on the Pool Deck! Dun think I dunno tht you're still comparing... Haha, jkjk.

Home sweet home! 7pm in SG, we anchored.
Played this murderer mystery game too. Haha, quite boring lah. Watch videos and all that. Bt thing is, I won! Haha, who cares if it sounds lame, or if the gold medal is so thin; I outsmarted the adults! Cooleration. Haha.

Spent most of my time watching TV and savouring the great food on board ('cept tht disgusting pig stomach dish. You shld hve seen my disgusted expression. Yucks.). Spent loads of time snapping photos around the ship as well! The movies' quality is horrible. Seems pirated :O Waste of time if you ask me.
BALCONY CLASS, HERE I COME!
