Had NCC ROD '08 on Friday, 1st August 2008!
It was a great success as what Snr Chern Yi and Kah Sing commented!
Way to go, Charlie! We rocked the night!
Starting at abt 3pm, we played games tht comprised of balloon games, dodgeball, the traditional flour game and all tht. Was spammed with loads of flour. Haha, bt it was fun while it lasted. Aft tht, we scrambled to do up the Hall aft NAPFA was finally over. (Wad perfect timing eh) Some of us prepared the dinner set up and gifts, bt we all managed to do it in time. :)
Ushered in the seniors and went on stage to host the night with qian hui and jia lun. Haha, it was great fun watching the various performances tht we simply hilarious or simply awe-inspiring (like snr ks' dance). Was kinda worried about out skit, bt it ended up terrific, with snr ks even asking us to perform more in th future. Can you believe it? Esp since we had v little rehearsal time. Yeah, Charlie imba! Combined performance was nice and we ended off with the NCC song which was kinda nostalgic when we were brought bck to affirmation ceremony in Year 1.
All in all, I'd like to thank all cadets for their support and all specialists for doing your very best to make this a success, frm the shopping to the games and to the programme. Charlie rules! Sorry if I blowed my top at some of you guys, but it was just unacceptable then. Thanks alot for coming down, seniors and thx alot PA!! You guys were great!

2/8 was Animal Farm at DBS Arts Centre.
It was a great performance which got the essence of the book and brought the entire satire alive, and comprehensible to political idiots like me who are simply clueless at politics or governmental issues.
Met up with yong zhi and yujie for dinner at The Central before heading down to DBS Arts Centre for the show. Met some Part C specialists there too and apparently, I'll seniors are stillinto our skit with people claling us Adrianna, Windy and Sunny. Hahahahaha.

Lst but not least, yst was mum's birthday. Happy birthday mummy! Hope you enjoyed yourself yst, with all tht shopping (at marcus' and my expense - to a certain extent. Haha), eating and yummy dinner!
