Woots~!
Got 1 Star Kayaking certificate! Okay, as in achieved.
The course at Kallang Basin was uber fun.
Learnt several strokes lyk the J Draw, Classic Draw, 180 deg spin, rudder (something), low brace (it's brace hor, nt ya..u noe), emergency brake etc. Bt cld nt do the draws v well..kept spinning in circles. Oh bt who cares, kayaking was fun (even though i capsized on the v first journey. Thx for helping me call for help.).
& i think capsizing was rather traumatizing? I dunno..maybe it's cuz i panicked abt capsizing into murky waters? I mean, we cun see where we were or wad. Bt finally gt it aft 4 attempts. Lotsa SALTY water in my ears and my eyes hurt. Legs kept getting trapped in my kayak when i was underwater cuz of the two STUPID black protrutions dat blocked them so u wun capsize so easily. & of all boats, only the blue boats hve them. N of all boats, i used a blue boat. Great, juz great.
TX Rescue was rather challenging. One person had to capsize n pretend he was drowing -.-". Then thr will be one rescuer n his assistant.
Had to empty the sunken kayak out at sea by balancing it on the rescuers boats to get the water out before helping the victim on to the kayak again. Rly tested our strength with one boat full of water! Bt apparently, we started out lyk more than 50m away frm shore n ended up on the beach by the tym we rescued him. Hahax. It was hilarious. Cuz the kayak kept capsizing each tym he tried to get on so kp redoing the drill.
Hahax, bt all's well dat ends well. N thr's 2 star kayaking, 3, 4, 5 and more!
Bt no...if u think i'm gnna take those, sry.
Simply cuz too ex. $60?! for a 24 hrs course? Nah.
Oh..n the Coach kayaked away when it started to rain, leaving us behind while we looked for zhai yang's slipper. Hmpf. Bt in the end, i think he realised his boo-boo n waited for everyone to leave first. Kayaking in the rain was uber fun!!!!! The water was a rather choppy and the rain water juz showers u, expelling the heat within u. Both challenging n soothing. Bt the droplets hit ur eyes real hard!
Ended at 7pm on Wed n at 3.30pm on Thurs cuz of the rain (even though it stopped by the tym we lugged the boats to shore. =.=).
Shooting was horrible.
Felt rly bad when he specially sms-ed me to check the results and I (we) had to disappoint him.
He had pinned so much hopes n efforts on us.
N for this, i feel guilty.

Hahax, okays, as i promised, here's abt grad night.
Paiseh kinda late cuz had kayaking the past 2 days.
Grad night was a success! Yupp, it was held at Swissotel Merchant Court's ballroom.
Not as big as i expected bt well, the programme sure went on smoothly.
The snrs were rly decked out in their best suits n gowns n donning new hairstyles till we cun rly recognise them.
The food was a 10 course dinner for them n some speculated thr was shark's fin?? Nt sure lehs..maybe sth dat looks lyk shark's fin. Oh forget it, eating dat is evil. N sch sponsored our (SC) dinner which was Long John's. Notice the stark contrast? Of course lah, dey paid $50 ya noe.
Okay, bck to the story, there was a live band with Janice (lead singer), Sze kiat n another 3 snrs who performed a series of songs lyk "Way Back Into Love" etc. Oso gt Zhi Ler dey all perform another few songs on the electric guitar, electone, drums (the drummer was too engrossed his beats nearly deafened me).
& yingying's performance ended sweetly with xianghui giving her a flower n hug on stage. (in spite of being in front of dm, bt i guess it's alright le..it's GRAD night).

Today went to SAFRA Mount faber for sc teambuilding. FUN FUN FUN!!
1st was ice-breakers. More lyk a brain exam to me...so much physics involved. And of all subjects, physics. My worst subject! Bt we managed to complete it nvrtheless. After dat was lunch then trekking at mt faber. Was lyk some kinda race to find checkpoints. It was nt bad lahs..gt to exercise geog skills & see THAT lego cable car! Cool lahs..whole thing made of lego. Bt then again, bum's gonna hurt sitting on those blocks with small protrutions. Ahh..it's been ages since I sat in a cable car..
During the race, Zhihao found one tourist fracutured his leg. So cun proceed cuz instructor was tending to him till the ambulance came. Bt dat's alright..he rly needed help. Glad we cld all empathise with him.
Lastly was Water Activities. Kinda lyk the Year 2 one with the caterpillar and all dat. But no hairdryer (lucky). Instead was lyk swimming to the other end n building up a jenga set. Kinda physically-exerting lahs. Then gt cable car oso. It was one rope suspended above water by 2 anchorers. Then gt one driver n passenger who will sit on THAT orange platform. Then driver needa maneouver, with the rope as a guide, over to the other side n let the passenger off.
Dat aside, the last water activity with ppl standing on the platform was kinda funny bt gay. Sure those on shore had a gd laugh when two guys had to dance the tango up thr. Jo, muz send me the pics k? Oh, & PA owned the bridging activity with 5 out of 6 guys frm PA - Chern Yi, Yu Jie, Yong Zhi, Jun Quan n I! Woots~!
Aft dat dismiss liaos so we kept pushing ppl into the water juz for fun. Was kinda funny how someone gt pushed down n came out before being pushed in 5 secs later AGAIN. Anw, dat's abt all bahx.

Guess it's time to update le.
Okay, juz had some sc courses yst n today. Yst was some project management workshop. V useful I must say...was all abt managing a project well and meeting set targets or working with constraints. Kinda lyked it. Bt the instructor was kinda fierce? Oh well. & yea, impt thing i picked up: Planning is seriously v impt. Trust me.
Sry jesslyn for making u walk so long yst. Jiayous with the bento boxes!
Oh yea, the bento boxes! Argh! Cuz we bought the boxes frm daiso..then thr gt right "2 (some jap words i dun understand)" So apparently, it meant 2 boxes included. Being the unassuming person i am, din rly go notice. Thinking thr was juz one in each package, went to vivo to buy extra last night. Then juz when I reached home (feeling a sense of satisfaction cuz I managed to get the last few pieces), jess sms-ed n said thr were 2 in each pakage. Great. Jus...great. Now we've lyk 5 extra boxes!?

2nd post! Man, i AM bored.
Hmfph, i wrote those cue cards in vain. Din even hve oral presentation during speech comms today. Simply cuz gt no tym n cuz Serchee (i think) cld nt be found. So, no Serchee = no videocam = no presentation. Woah, wad a relieve. Hahax, rly enjoyed the course with lotsa laughter and sweets frm Mrs Rama! Woots~!
SC teambuilding will be at Safra Mount Faber! N there will be water activities! Yays! Although it wun be the same w/o 2 Attitude-d, I guess we'll still enjoy it. Look forward to dat.
Oh! Happy birthday Victoria! Welfare rly had a great birthday bash for ya juz nw! (=
Oh yea! It's exactly 12am nw (according to my comp. Blogger's nt accurate :p). Happy Deepavali to all. Enjoy ur holidays and do take this tym to catch a breather or soak in the festivities. Oh yea..shld hve wished Mrs Rama "Happy Deepavali" as a class juz nw.

Okay, been quite a while since I've posted.
Went to Pasir Laba camp for IMT practice yst with the rest of the RV team: wei qiang, leon, qixin, liqin, shirleen, shereen, valerie and qiao wei.
Apparently, we were the first sch to reach so went to shoot first! Bt then qixin de rifle got gas come out de (???) so he had to shoot last. Oh n yea, my assistant. Dunno whether she's gd or mean. Lyk if she saw me adjusting sandbag, she will kp adjusting for me n oways ask okay anot. Budden when I was shooting, I think she kicked my leg? Hoping I'd miss. Wq de assistant oso liddat. Bt in your faces! (Although I srsly think I tyco-ly passed).
Muz train up on arm power. & yea, qixin, dun get to depressed kaez? U r juz unlucky dis tym. On 20th, u're sure to do well. Oh yea, & ma'am's disappointed with our results.
Anw, while waiting for qixin, all of us (guys n girls) had a great laugh with contents n gossipsI shall nt disclose. Hahax. Laughed till stomach pain. The bus ride bck to RV was oh-so-quiet cuz some were asleep.
Hahax, & it's rather strange. Few of my pri friends have been sms-ing me n asking abt my eoy results? N asking what subjects i chose? N telling me abt their future study plans (university n all dat). Rly strange ya noe..esp since we rarely meet up dis days. Bt honestly lahs, I dun think I'd actually planned till so far. Maybe I shld.
Oh & I;ve received the letter frm JCS abt the JLPT. Was damn relieved to see it. Cuz I thot I wrote my address wrongly during registration. I did hve a headache that day. Test venue is lyk at CHANGI?! Ergh. N only gt one pathetic bus with a pathetic number --- 2. & it's freaking early - 1030am!? Means I gotta wake up damn early & go thr half-asleep. Bt it's worth it for the internationally-recognised cert (or so they claim it to be :P). Hope my 2 years of jap lessons wont go to waste!
Anw, gtg watch Golden Girls on Ch 5. Damn funny even tho it's an ancient show. & I'm rly dreading speech comms later. Have nt even done my cue cards. :O

Went to Shuqun Pri yst for some collaboration. Okay, some were rather rude, some were ridiculously arrogant, some were passive. Bt thr were oso the enthusiastic ones esp Leon. Hahax. Glad he warmed up to us. At least he managed to lighten the mood & had us laughing at his funny antics.
Aft dat, went to moelc for ryouri-kyoushitsu. Learnt to make sushi thr! Luved my sushi so much. Hahax. Bt the rice no taste de. :p Bt @ least sensei lyked it.
Sry Austin to kp u waiting n starving, din noe it wld take so long to reach thr frm JE. Hope u dun take it to heart. Oh yea, yst oso OFFICIALLY withdrew frm Jap. Haish. Maybe I'll miss the long MRT rides n joy of speaking the language. Maybe I'll love the freedom. I rly cun tell.
Dat aside, nw i cun even kop ppt slides frm their website cuz dey introduced PASSWORD juz yesterday! Arghs. Nvm, I'll juz go buy the notes & textbooks frm them nex year & use those kinokuniya vouchers to buy guide books & self study (muz get JLPT 3).
Finally had tym to slack off today cuz dunnid go to sch. N was hooked onto Class 95fm while I started sorting out some sch worksheets. Luved thes songs which somehow reminded me of my P6 holidays which WERE so carefree.
As for tmr, it's tennis in the morning (hope it dosen't rain) & pbb spend my whole aftnoon at the library cuz mum n dad wun be home. Gonna get lotsa quiet tym alone, enjoying the air-con & reading thru varieties of books, transcending places n tym. & perhaps thinking abt some stuff too. Aft dat, will juz spend the night watching tv or sorting out photos (cuz mum n dad r nt home). C first bahx.

Finally had tym to slack off today cuz dunnid go to sch. N was hooked onto Class 95fm while I started sorting out some sch worksheets. Luved thes songs which somehow reminded me of my P6 holidays which WERE so carefree.
As for tmr, it's tennis in the morning (hope it dosen't rain) & pbb spend my whole aftnoon at the library cuz mum n dad wun be home. Gonna get lotsa quiet tym alone, enjoying the air-con & reading thru varieties of books, transcending places n tym. & perhaps thinking abt some stuff too. Aft dat, will juz spend the night watching tv or sorting out photos (cuz mum n dad r nt home). C first bahx.
